[gparted sourceforge net] GParted - can change HDD partition organization preserving contents.  Industrial-strength util for creating, destroying, resizing, moving, checking and copying partitions, filesystems, creating space for new O.S., reorg disk usage, copying data on HDD & mirroring or imaging partitions.  Uses GNU "libparted" to detect and manipulate devices and partition tables.  (Optional) "file system" tools which provide support for file systems not included in "libparted" will be detected at runtime and do not require a rebuild of GParted.  Written in C++ using gtkmm to keep GUI simple.

Works with proprietary data formats.  Also possible to apply to partitions only (but not for free).
