Teaching
Spreading knowledge is critical in both the short and long term.  The ability to teach others is crucial.
Lobbying
Cooperation from our political leaders is essential.  We need people to pursuade them to help us.
Coodinating
As the No-Kill effort grows, there will be even greater need to match resources to needs and keep everyone informed of what's going on, and what they can do to help.
Organizing
Similar to coodinating, but with more emphasis on leadership, planning, and recruiting.
IT
As the volume of data increases, so will the need for information technology skills.
Animal Care
Tending to the physical needs of homeless animals is essential to buying them the time needed to find a home.  This includes tending shelter animals, doing rescue, and fostering.
Adoptions
It takes a lot of time and social skills to match animals to potential new homes.
